They stare through my windows gawking at my naked body while I'm prepping for my day close my robe drink my coffee gotta see somebody bout a fever and a cough
I flash my work order and they send me on my way they resume their patrol I peep the tank on the corner this ain't the 2020 I signed up for
When I get home I'll grab the good stationary write a letter to the president tell him I want to punch him in the throat

i remember living rent free i was 15 trying to siphon wifi from somebody else so we could do the bad thing; steal a couple records just to soundtrack our holiday out in cape cod, strumming guitars tryna woo a couple church girls.
it was of course a kind of pipedream, but we had illegal smiles we had angels from montgomery watching over us while we made sense of our world through the lens and the vision of somebody else.
so i thank you john- now i know what to do with hole in the arm where the money goes.
is this the nothing our Lord died for? i'd give my left nut to leave it behind. enjoy your vodka ginger ale and nine mile cigarette
